GOD’S PERFECT SIZE BOOK WRITTEN BY KIM JAGWE

Book Excerpt “I felt him move back. Had he lost his footing? I was about to try again, but he stopped me. He peered into my eyes and said, ‘I can’t pick you up. You’re too fat, just like your mother.’ In that instant, he confirmed all of my fears, and I knew he was right. I was too fat… too fat to like, too fat to love, too fat to matter.

KIM’S BIOGRAPHY ~ Kim Jagwe, was born into a female dominated family of strong and powerful women. She is number two of five sisters who are her dearest, and best friends. Her mother is one of her greatest role models. She attributes her passion for speaking to the women who birthed and trained her in the way to go. Kim’s humble beginnings as a child of the projects laid the foundation for her love of serving and giving back to others.

Public speaking is one of her greatest joys. She speaks at women’s conferences, church functions and various types of mainstream events. During Kim’s early adolescent years, her gift for gab became more apparent causing her sister’s to lovingly nickname her “preacher girl”.

Kim’s destiny was nearly destroyed as her battle with food addiction began to consume and dominate her life. As her weight soared to new heights her health began to plummet. Nearly twenty years into the battle a great depression settled in. On the verge of giving up on life and herself, she cried out to God. He delivered and restored her from the bondage of obesity. Today she continues the fight of maintaining a healthy relationship with food.
